Paramus Residence

Central Kitchen Island

The island serves as the functional and visual heart of the kitchen. It features a waterfall-edge stone countertop supported by light oak veneer paneling on the base. Integrated under-counter appliances and ample seating space make it both a preparation zone and a social hub. The oak base provides visual warmth that contrasts with the matte white perimeter cabinetry.

Cohesion Across the Space

The millwork scope extended to full-height perimeter cabinetry with integrated refrigeration, a pro-style range wall with stone-clad hood, and a complete master walk-in closet system. The closet includes a central island, extensive open shelving, built-in drawers, and hanging storage. All elements share the same light oak veneer, matte black hardware, and precise reveals for visual continuity between kitchen and private areas.

Engineering the Master Closet Island

The central island in the master walk-in closet demonstrates the approach to integrated storage. The wood base features flush-mounted drawers with continuous finger-pull recesses and no visible hardware. The white stone countertop provides a clean surface for folding and packing while the surrounding full-height cabinetry maximizes vertical storage without interrupting the room’s light flow.

Materials & Precision

Matte white flat-panel cabinetry was paired with light oak veneer accents for warmth and depth. All casework was fabricated to tight tolerances using CNC routing and hand finishing. Blum Legrabox aluminum drawer systems were integrated throughout for smooth operation and commercial-grade durability. The waterfall-edge stone countertops required precise mitered joints and structural coordination with the millwork base.

Resolution

In completed use, the residence gains two outcomes at once: higher functional capacity and stronger visual order. The kitchen supports daily activity with clear storage and durable hardware performance. The closet system extends that same logic into private routines, producing a home that feels consistent in both how it looks and how it works.
