Kooperativ Co-Working Space

Translating creative vision into durable infrastructure

Kooperativ was developed as a central hub for Kyiv’s creative and business community. The goal was to create an environment that supported both focused work and collaboration across three floors. The furniture needed to be flexible enough to adapt to changing requirements while remaining robust for long-term commercial use.

Segmented glass brick reception desk

The curved reception desk became a defining feature of the main hall. Constructed with glass blocks and finished with a solid wood top, it serves as both a practical reception point and a strong visual element within the industrial setting. The piece required precise fabrication to achieve the curve and structural integrity while integrating cleanly with the surrounding architecture.

Cohesion Across 4,000 Square Meters

The scope also included full-height birch plywood kitchen cabinetry, tiered amphitheater seating in the main hall, collaboration tables, storage units, and custom millwork for the private meeting rooms. All elements were executed to the same standards of dimensional accuracy and finish quality.

Materials & Precision

Premium birch plywood was selected for its clean grain, strength, and suitability for high-traffic environments. All components were fabricated to ±1 mm tolerances using CNC equipment with hand finishing. This precision ensured consistent quality and smooth installation across the entire facility.

Engineering the Private Pods

The orange meeting pods demonstrate how the millwork integrates with the glass partition system. The solid panels feature clean edges and precise hardware detailing, while the white-framed glass maintains openness and light throughout the space. The construction allows the pods to function as proper private rooms without disrupting the overall industrial character.

Integrated rooftop lounge and custom pergola systems

The scope also included the rooftop terrace, a nearly 1,000-square-meter open-air platform on the top floor. Bricble supplied the custom wooden pergola structures with translucent roofing, built-in benches with integrated lighting, large planters, and an outdoor bar counter. These elements were designed to withstand rooftop exposure while maintaining the same material language and construction standards used indoors.

The terrace serves as a flexible extension of the coworking space — supporting informal work, community events, presentations, and networking while offering panoramic views of central Kyiv. It functions equally well for daily use and larger gatherings, completing the facility’s role as a full-spectrum creative hub.
